METIS is a high 4-star steel chair base designed for dining and conference chairs where precision and stability are essential.

Form and structure
The heart of the METIS is a rounded spindle housing of approximately 7 cm, from which four slim, rounded legs extend seamlessly. This central starting point ensures optimal force distribution across the entire base. The legs flow into a 3 cm upright end section that makes solid contact with the floor without making the design appear heavy. Rounded lines and subtly tapered shapes give the base a controlled and powerful appearance, while remaining structurally stable and reliable. Engineered for intensive daily use.
